Membership in the Wausau Branch of AAUW is open to any graduate holding an associate (or equivalent, e.g. RN), baccalaureate or higher degree from a qualified educational institution. In principle and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There are no barriers to full participation in our organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or class.
We offer activities that support the mission of AAUW: to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.
Branch membership includes AAUW local, state and national affiliation with dues of $95.00. Members receive current information through publications including the AAUW magazine, AAUW Outlook, AAUW in Action, the Wisconsin Badger Briefs and our newsletter, LEAFLET.
Our Branch members find opportunities for advocacy, action, networking, personal growth, fun and friendship through our Branch meetings and a variety of interest groups.
An undergraduate student enrolled in a qualified educational institution is eligible for student affiliation. Contact the Vice President of Membership to learn student membership pricing.
